Wanted: A caddie!

Knuti isn’t always so keen to go into the cold water to fetch his toys. No, he really hates to wet his fur and his paws. I think his facial (and pawial!) expressions tell us that he’s disappointed at the bad service from his stuff! He seems to be saying: ‘Why aren’t there any caddies at the zoo? They could fetch and carry my footballs and Aussie dogs. I think I have to put an add in the papers.’
I feel like playing but I can’t find my toys….
If my memory serves me right I threw them here somewhere.
C’mon toys – up you come!!
I know you’re there hiding from me.
Hmmm, do I smell food???
No, it was a false alarm….I have to continue looking for my toys.
Every bear should have a personal caddie….
Oh dear, I just have to wet my paws …and my fine fur…..
Of course, after finding my Aussie dog I don’t mind so much wetting my fur!!

Mervi, you have a knack for being the “voice of Knut.” I love Jessie’s photos and your captions go just right with them
Great photos as usual and such funny knuti-like comments. I would volunteer to be his caddie any day but I know he might prefer a German speaking assistant. Knuti is so adorable and the scamp knows his impact on others.
This story reminds me that our Knuti was not too eager to get in the water as a cub. Remember him getting out of the tin tub in the bearyard, and T.D. putting him back in again….and again? And when Knuti was learning to swim, T.D. took him by the scruff of the neck and pulled him into the water. Well, he became an excellent swimmer, if not an eager one! Nice story, Mervi!
I’ll be your caddie and your cuddlie and anything you wish, Knutipie.
I agree with Betsy, Mervi definitely has a talent for writing as Knuti. She knows him through and through.
I love seeing Knut manoeuvre things with his paws. I love the way his paws are so wide! The captions are so heartwarming. I love the last photo, and thought this new toy was one of the “Aussie” series! yay!
Hello everybody! Thank you for your kind comments! Jessie’s photos always tell me a story and it’s such freat fun to write the captions. Glad you like them!
