The Koala and the Heat Wawe

I received these pictures from a colleague. I do not know the full background story. But it concerned a young koala who was seeking for some shadows and a cool place. The lady of the house filled a pot with water for his refreshment and look what happened….
These photos are sooo cute. I hope, the koala will also be looked after as caringly as Sam. Thank you, for the story.

What a cheeky little fella in this X rated series of photos. Does anyone realise he’s not wearing any bathing trunks in that tub?? Not even a G-string? I am going to report him to the Koala Morality Department.
But seriously though, like Bauz I trust that he is being loved and nurtured as he recuperates.

My sister-in-law told me about this one, it was either in Melbourne or Adelaide, Australia, where the temperatures had been around 40 celsius. No bushfires were involved thankfully, the little koala simply wanted to cool off from the extreme heat, and found its way onto a property, where the people provided some water in their laundry for the koala to drink. As you can see, it decided to climb right in!

Good to know no bush fires were involved in this situation. Now we can understand why he dove into the tub sans bathing trunks and inhibitions. Like Knuti Judi says- he’s such a smart little fella and cute too. Wonder if we’ll see more of him?
