I had the great pleasure of visiting the Zoo Gelsenkirchen with Ulli J. It was lovely to see so many beautiful animals but the highlight was seeing the young lovers Lara and Bill. The pictures will speak for themselves! Enjoy!

    I have said it before and I’ll say it again – could two bears be any more in love? This romance is so beautiful and almost like a fairy tale. At first I was skeptical because I wanted Lara to be among the polar princesses in line for Knut’ affections but having seen Bill and his devotion to her, I have changed my entire perspective. I feel a song in my heart for them both and wish them everlasting love and some cute little bearette munchkins in times to come.

    If you have ever the possibility to come to Gelsenkirchen, go and visit these two bears; I’ve never seen so much tenderness between two animals; love and fun and happiness!!
    You are so right, Celinne, let’s wish them everlasting love and in several years cute little bears.

    Their relationship is such an inspiration. You can almost hear the violins in the background when they frolic together. Bear lovers all over the world have something to celebrate! I wish dear Knuti could find such a love….
