A Baby Elephant born in Zoo Antwerp!

This morning at 8.45 a.m. Phyo Phyo gave birth to a little baby elephant. So far, everything is fine and baby already found its way to the nipple but did not drink yet. But in Zoo Antwerp they are quite confident that it will not cause a problem. Little sister is a tad jealous. After all, it is a comparable situation to Zoo Berlin: two sisters (well, I think so) and same age difference. Na ja, we all know how this will end. One day, little-big sissie will on a day step on slurfie of mini-little sissie and then mini little sissie will yell all devils out of hell and the big-little sissie will lay down and kiss mini-little sissie (just as it happened in a place we all love, where there is a young wonderful bear).

Needless to say that we all are existed here in Belgium. Later this week, a name will be chosen. Its name will start with a “K”.

And prutsch prutsch prutsch, all of a sudden, I forgot all English and can only speak/write Dutch, BEA, GEWELDING NIETWAAR. Nu moeten wij zeker eens afspreken hier in Leuven om naar Antwerpen te gaan. JABIDABIDOE…

    I think her name should be Kindeerah!!! But I don’t speak or read German, so I can’t suggest it on their website, so I will do it here!!!

    Congratualations to Antwerp Zoo. The birth of the little elephant was also an important point in Gernman TV news.Now we have much more news about zoo animals in our TV than some years ago.
    Patricia, whatever language you speak,we can understand you.
