Knuti’s May Mix

Hello friends! This time I will tell you how I spend the sunny Spring days. As you all already know I love gardening and I want my garden to be filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Being a very clever bear I don’t work too hard. As they say – the most important thing in the life is gardening but that’s not so important either…No, there must be time for swimming, playing, eating and napping!
Look at this green thing – isn’t it nice?
This plant needs to be moved. I’m a garden architect as well….
Some of my plants are floating in the water and I love to play with them. Don’t you think this photo by Jessie is like a painting? If Signor Leonardo – you know that da Vinci guy – saw me now he would forget all about the ever smiling Mona Lisa!!
Hello, this branch have no leaves!
Now we’re talking! This looks much better.
Isn’t this lovely? I can sit in the sun and admire my garden for hours.
Green leaves on green paws, hehehe….
Hmmm …let me think….what shall I do next…
This demands some bear power!
Now I think it’s time to relax and play a little.
I must make an inventory of my toys….Let’s see – the balls are here, the Aussie dog is here….
This Aussie dog really is a ‘bear proof’ toy! It still looks quite nice.
I swim a little before the dinner. I’m feeling very hungry now….I may have said this before but a growing bear needs lots of energy – especially when it’s gardening season!
I can smell food!! Jippiiii!! The cavallery is here!
A large salmon is exactly what I needed!
Yammy, yammy, yammy! An ice cake with lots of delicious stuff inside! Oh joy, as Tante Knuti-Judi would say!
After all that delicious food my belly needs some time to rest.
Oh, I find it difficult to keep my eyes open…
I think it’s time for a ‘nickerchen’ ….but first
…I want to smell the beautiful flowers!
There’s nothing like a nice nap listening to the rippling water, smelling the lovely scent of the flowers and dreaming sweet dreams of a certain ice princess whose favourite colour is pink!
See you, guys!

Hi Mervi,
I really enjoyed “Knuti’s May Mix.” Beautiful photos and comments, especially the “painting” and the “inventory of toys.” Before looking at the article, I was stressed out–after reading it I felt quiet, peaceful, contented. Just right! Thank you for Knutitours, especially KWM and The Knuipe. Your efforts are much appreciated.
Sarsam
Mervi,
Thanks so much for this unexpected pleasure – a double dip album of sweet Knuti looking so fine. Knuti can landscape my garden any day but I won’t be able to afford his celebrity fees. I love all the photos but number 17 is my favourite as Knuti stretches that porky back leg. Like Sarsam , I felt much more relaxed after looking at these shots. It is that Knuti energy again – helping and healing a frazzled world.
The photogs, all of you, have captured some of the beary best of May-Knuti as he dives through life in his little kingdom ~ my favourites are alle, but especially Knuti sitting down with his paw over his heart as he gazes sky-ward, jumping for and claiming the salmon, et. al., and finally in repose.
The matching lines from Mervi are right on!
No doubt about it, he’s our bear and handsome as ever!
Hugs, Tish
Mervi, Thanks for the “garden collection.” I especially like the one of Knuti carrying that green thingie…You have to wonder what that’s about….what was the bear thinking? “I’ve got to plant this over there….” “This is the kind of salad I like…” Who know what…Anyway, great captions and wonderful bear pics! xo k-j
Dear Knuti
You are just the gardener I need for my garden. When you smell the flowers, you look just like Ferdinand – the Bull, who loved sitting under his tree and smelling the flowers.
Best wishes Inge
My Knuti pie,
you look so lovely in your garden amongst the green grass, your blooming plants and the soft May sun.
I’d like to join you to take a nap and listen to the rippling brook after a day’s gardening work.
Mervi thank you for writing the monthly Knuti’s journal to keep us up to date on Knuti’s life.

Mervi, gorgeous photos and captions, as ever. Thank you!
Yes, Knuti has that calming effect, which is why I used to have his images up at my desk in a former stressful job. Also nice to look through my album of him if I’ve had a bad day.
My beloved Knutje, It seems that you found your Shangri-lah. If ever it is written like this and if not, in any event, you found your paradise.
