Knuti – always THE Star

Today we have seen a very merry bear. The reason for his merriness was a Japanese TV-team making a document and doing interwiews. They stayed a long time with Knuti. Everybody knowing Knuti also knows how much he enjoyes to perform in front of the camera men.
Heute habe ich einen sehr ausgelassenen Bären erlebt. Grund dafür war ein japanisches Fernsehteam, dass sich sehr lange bei Knut aufhielt um zu filmen und Interviews zu machen. Wer Knut kennt, weiß, dass es nichts schöneres für ihn gibt, als die Kameraleute zu becircen.
Of course, he’s performance contained his entire program. He made ‘the big boy’, wawed at people and jumped from his sand hep into the water again and again. He didn’t like at all when the TV- team was shooting film behind the Knutkiosk.
He began to play with a bush branch and made tricks with it. A member of the team told us the the movie ‘Knut and his friends’ has premiere in Japan in the end of July – that’s why they were making the documentary.
So startete er wieder sein volles Programm. Er machte Männchen, winkte den Leuten zu. Sprang immer wieder von seinem Sandhaufen ins Wasser. Das die Leute vom Fernsehen sich von ihm abwandten um den Knutkiosk zu filmen, passte ihm gar nicht.
Also fing er an ein Büschel Pflanzen zu zupfen, um damit weiter seine Mätzchen zu machen. Eine Dame vom Team erzählte uns, dass Ende Juli in Japan die Kino-Premiere für den Film “Knut und seine Freunde” läuft und sie dafür eine Doku drehen.
When the team had left Knuti continued having fun in the water.
Nachdem die Crew nun fort war, tobte Knuti weiter ausgelassen im Wasser rum.

Danke Monika! I’m so pleased to hear that Knut’s profile is still being maintained by international media.
Knuti is still the biggest animal star in the world and I have noticed that the international media still covers the significant events in his life. I get Google alerts on him very regularly. Hundreds of blog sites still refer to him in serious articles or spoofs and it is a fact that our ursine hottie still fascinates the world. And we can understand why when we look at these photos. Gorgeous and intelligent!

Thank you for your beautiful photos. I especially like the one where Knuti has thrown the plant over his ear! Yes, it is very good to hear that he is still an international star–surely all those eyes on Knuti in Berlin will have some positive affect on the folks making the decisions for his future.

What great photos! Just when one thinks one has seen Knuti do everything, possible he comes up with a whole new bag of tricks. Yes, I, too, love the picture of Knuti with the flower on his head. We will have to ask his fasion consultant, Tante Knuti-Judi, to add it to his model’s portfolio!
I especially smiled and smiled when I saw the picture of Knuti giving the royal wave. So Knuti! So very Knuti! King of bears, royal and exceptional, but still a man of the people and a silly little bear.

Our “Star” knows as behaves in front of the cameras, he is already famous. He should be under the impression of the paw in the sidewalk of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
