One big event, the WC in Athletics, is over but there’s an even bigger event coming soon – my 33 months birtday on the 5th of September! I’ve been told my fans are coming from every corner of the world – I’m especially waiting for Luisa from Brazil and Knuti-Judi from USA. Isn’t it amazing these ladies travel all the way from America to visit me! I wish them both a safe journey and look forward to meeting them by my castle….even called enclosure.
I’m sure you all want to sing for me so I’ve been training how to conduct the choir. They say I’m as good as von Karajan!
Maybe I should save this Aussie Dog so you can see me playing with it.
It can be used as a hat, too. Knuti-Judi will be delighted to see my latest creations….
All kinds of eatable birthday gifts are welcome – except veggies. You can eat them yourselves since many of you are anyway on an everlasting diet! I may have mentioned this before but I say it again – a growing bear needs lots of calories and I prefer my calories in croissants and salmons.
A new ball wouldn’t be such a bad idea either.
Talking about diet – Auntie Mervi’s diets usually last about half an hour but I can understand she’s very disappointed she doesn’t look like a fotomodel in spite of all that will power.
I have to make a list of the things I must do before my guests arrive. Let’s see – I must clean the enclosure and the entre to my castle, I need a pawicure and I really must visit a barber shop – my beard is a mess!
Of course, I will demonstrate how to put on Knuti’s Sensational Super Rich Rejuvenating Sand Foundation.
Oh joy, oh joy, oh joy – soon I will meet lots of my fans ‘live’! I’m so glad you haven’t abandoned me just because I’ve grown bigger!
Now it’s time for a little nap. I’ll be dreaming of the Big Day!

You already have a lot of experience in conducting the choir, rembember Pink Floyd Orchestra? But you are right, an artist should always keep on with the training. And nobody will ever abandon you just because you’re grown. No matter how old or grown you are you will always be the cutest Knuti ever seen so it is quite natural that your friends come even over the big pond to see you. Of course Auntie knuti-judi will we delighted to see your latest hat creation, it looks marvellous. Regarding cleaning your enclosure: don’t you have a selfcleaning apartment? Ask your friend Zar Raspi about it.
And please tell Aunti Mervi that she has done a great job, writing such nice captions.

You are one handsome hunk of bear with a winning personality! Believe me, we love you all the more now that you are almost all grown up. You have made all of us, including Papa Thomas, Papa Lars, Mama Tosca, and Granny Lisa very proud of you. And I for one think your beard makes you look quite elegant.
