Always look on the bright side of life

1.11.2009 – Photos by Caren and Doris Webb

After some time of sadness and confusion I think we all feel more optimistic today. The good news from Wuppertal about Lars definitely made us feel better. It’s really amazing how fast Lars accepted his new home. He looked so happy and confident playing with his toys.

Flocke and Raspi are still in Nuremberg so let’s enjoy all the reports and photos of the lovely couple as long as we can!

We can also look forward to lots of bear birthdays! There will be a party almost every day starting in November and continuing in December. The big event will, of course, be Knuti’s third birthday in Berlin but we mustn’t forget all our other white, fluffy friends. Flocke, Raspi, Ewa, Wilbär, Oma Lisa, Yogi…..

I also hope some snow flakes would fall in every zoo with polar bears. What fun that would be! Most probably there will be snow soon at least in Ranua and in Orsa. Hopefully we will have photos of happy bears playing in snow and ice.

Let’s enjoy the happy moments – we have so much to be happy about!

Greetings from Mervi

  2. Dear Mervi-
after a lot of worries and sorrows about Flocke and Raspi meanwhile I try to look on the bright side of life. As you wrote, they are still there and I will try to use any chance visiting them. From the ‘day after’ I will look foreward to meeting them now and again in Antibes, as that is definitely not out of the world.

Lars seems to be contented and even happy in Wuppertal. And Lisa still has a chance perhaps to recover to be able to enjoy life.

Thanks for your leading article which may help a lot to consider that even the black side has a reverse side.
    Hugs, caren

  3. Dear Mervi, dear Caren!
Thank you for the pictures! I hope we will get the pictures of Flocke and Raspi from France too.
    Hugs

  4. Liebe Mervi!

    Danke fuer Deine neutte Wörter.

Immer noch bin ich etwas traurig. Ich wollte so gern, dass Flocke und raspi koennte in Deutschland bleiben. Am liebsten in Nurnberg oder in Munchen.

  5. Dear Mervi & Caren, Thanks for the positive attitude and great pictures! It is important that the two bears stay together….xo k-j
