Bravo and Well done, China!

Dear All, as I already told before, my neighbours have visited China and of course, the panda bears. And herewith you find a selection of their pictures they kindly wanted to share with you all. According to them, pandas are cuter than Knuti, which is of course an opinion that can be discussed. It goes without saying that one can spend hours by simply watching them, although the pandas are not so mobile and in fact rather slow in their movements and even in their sex life. While watching the pictures, I was really touched by the care that was paid to their living environment, they have space in a natural enclosure.
A very interesting thing to know: in case there is danger for these bears, for example, when there is an earthquake, the government pays a bonus equal to six months of their salary to any Chinese citizen who is saving a panda. Well, some may consider this as a business affair which has nothing to do with the animals. And it might be an explanation why so many people were immediately willing to rescue the pandas after the recent earthquake. But I think that this is also a manner to make people conscious of the importance of their survival. If a government is willing to spend so much money for the safeguarding of the pandas, then I can only say: BRAVO and WELL DONE!!!

Dear Patricia,
Will you please, thank your neighbours for bringing us these lovely photos!
I fully agree – well done, China!!
Hugs from Mervi
Dear Patricia,
indeed, these bears are cute, however, I would not say cuter than Knut, but they are all cute each of its kind and species. These pics remind me on my Teddies. I am grateful that your kind neighbours shared their pics with us. No matter what intention they have in China, most important that they all want to rescue these wonderful animals.
Thank you so much for this lovely contribution!
Hugs from caren

Dear Patricia,
Thank you so much for the adorable panda pictures and the report! They are very cute….but we know that Knuti is the cutest! xo k-j
Thank you Patricia and your neighbors, funny pictures of beautiful pandas, I only don’t agree with the comparison, Knut is ” hors concours “. And yes Bravo China, nice to know that they have care with the preservation of pandas.
Aren’t these scamps adorable? You just want to grab them and kiss them all over. What a joy to behold. Thanks so much for sharing Patricia.
Such beautiful pics! Thank you for sharing. So cute!!!!!!
Did you also know, that anyone who harms a panda will get the death sentence in China? I think they are the only animal the Chinese really love.
Greetings from Canada

Dear Patricia!
Thank you for the report and the pics. I find it is good that China cares for Pandas.

Dear Patricia,
A big thank you to you and your neighbors for these delightful pictures! Yes, it is wonderful that China is putting so much effort into trying to preserve its national treasure. Because of China’s cooperation and willingness to loan pandas, we here in the U.S. were lucky to be able to follow Tai Shan’s birth and growing up at the National Zoo on their “Panda Cam.” Personally, I don’t think you can say which is cuter (polar bears or pandas)–it is like comparing apples and oranges–they are very different but both are very cute….!!
Bear hugs, Sarsam
*Fu Long* flew out to China today……………

Dear Patricia —
