Thank you very much for a sensitive and sweet translation of Knut’s thoughts! He is a very good and smart bear–he will figure out Daddy’s instructions about becoming a polar bear man. Lars’ ladies must really like him since they want him to keep in touch by cell phone!!

Besonders nicht die, welche in Zoos leben.

vielen Dank für die schöne und rührige Geschichte von einem Eisbärenmann, der es nicht immer so leicht hat. Ganz besonders jetzt, wo er ein quirrliges Eisbärenmädchen mit italienischem Blut aus der Münchener Weltmetroplole mit Herz.

Dear Teddybärenmutti,

I understand so well that lots of things are moving in Knuti’s head at the moment – just like in our heads! There has been some good news but also some bad news so we are all more or less confused. I’m sure, though, that our clever bear boy will work things out and he and Gianna will be happy together!

I’m sorry about the poor translation but I’ve got the flu and my head feels like a big stone….
