A sweet koala and a crazy cat….

Someone sent me these adorable pictures today….seems like they are from last year when there was a heat wave in Australia…some koalas sought some aid! The one in the bucket was a rescue who decided to cool off in the bucket! Greetings from Knuti-Judi
…………………………………………………………………………………………..
A black bear who came to snuffle to the garbage at a home in Canada, Mont-Laurier, will certainly never forget his visit there. Most probably, the bear never expected that a “psycho-cat” would defend the garbage. Result, the bear run away, but nonetheless, with the garbage sack between his teeth. However, I must say in advance that even though the video is rather funny, I certainly would not laugh when one of my cats would have a close encounter with a bear (I know, I know, that is quite impossible in Belgium). I think that I would immediately run out to save my cat.
But all is well that ends well, isn’t it.
Greetings from Patricia Roberts

Dear Knuti-Judi and Patricia,
The photos of the sweet koala are so heartwarming and the video is just hilarious – at least when you know it has a happy ending. I would have gone mad if one of my cats had done the same than this ‘psycho-cat’

The video is very funny. But you see that normaly the brown bears are friendly and shy animals even they are wild and big.
Greetings sirpa
Koala’s: CUTE!
Bear and Kwazy cat: OMG!
Dear Knuti-Judi and Patricia,
thank you so much for this lovely story and pictures. The koala in the bath is sooo cute. The video I had already seen somewhere on Friday. Isn’t it amazing, the kittens is sooooo brave.
Lately a brown bear was seen in Poland. A vet tried to narcotise is to get hold of him. What happened? after the shot the bear was filled with energy and chased the vet around. He got a second shot and was even faster running after the vet. At least it was a narcotic shot and they tried to bring the bear into a zoo. He obviously was born in a zoo and unable to look for food himself.

Even if these pics are already more than one year old, it is still great to re-watch them again. We all remember the pics of Sam and the fire-patrol man who gave him water. But here, also others did the same and it was nice to see again the pics I posted last year of the little koala in the bucket.
And yes, Caren, I read that same news about the bear in Poland and saw the pics. Bear was fast, men even faster, hihihihi.
I love re-visiting such sweet, heart-warming memories. Thanks so much for posting again. It made my day!
Dear Knuti -Judi and Patricia,
1. Isn’t it wonderful how many people helped the koalas during that hot spell! I read reports of helping other animals also such as kangaroos. Very heartwarming. And the photos are precious!
2. I agree, Patricia, if one of my cats had been out there with the bear, I would have had a heart attack!! But as Sirpa said, brown bears usually run in the other direction when they see humans–they definitely are not as dangerous as grizzlies, for example.
Thank you both for brightening my day!!

Cats are really very daring and I would also hate to see Star in this situation. The koala is very cute.
Thank you K-Judy and Patricia
Thanks dear Patricia and Knuti-Judy for the nice picture from the koala.
