Two years with magical Knutitours

Today is a very special day – it was exactly two years ago Knutitours started the magical tour with you! Since Mervi always tells me she’s ‘a daughter of white wilderness’ I thought some lovely winter photos of La Donna and me would be very suitable for this lead. LeenaP – also a daughter of snowy landscape – visited us in the beginning of January and took some wonderful pictures.
Dear Gianna, isn’t it amazing that there are so many blogs and sites about my humble person? Everybody thought my fans would loose their interest but they were so wrong. Knutitours is one of the sites …..
When Mervi started Knutitours two years ago she couldn’t even imagine that the site would be still going strong in the year 2010.
There are so many stories, photos and collages …. but of course, my fans always feel inspired by me!

The word ‘cute’ must be one of the most common words in all the comments about Gianna and me….
Well, I AM cute – don’t you all agree?
Hahahaa – do you remember when the visitors in the Knuipe had to enter through the chimney? Oh dear, so many problems with the Server Family there have been but my friends always manage to figure out how to come in.
There have been so much laughter but also many tears. The Knuipe has become a place where we can be ourselves and ‘let our hair down’ as Auntie Retta put it. Let’s hope we can visit our hangout for many, many years. May I remind you that my own magazine KWM will also soon have a 1 year anniversary….

Dear Mervi, once again thank you for all your hard work and for never ever having given in/up! One has to be a strong character not to be desillusionized (I don’t know if this word exists in English but I am sure you understand what I mean!) doing so much of thinking-, acting-, realizing-work, and sometimes getting not too much reactions…
Thanks also to those assisting Mervi once in a while, and contributing with interesting, funny, nice, … stories, information, and pictures – mainly but not only about Knuti and his closest four-legged friends.

Congratulations on two years of your wonderful Knutitours – magical they have been, still are, and hopefully will be for a long time to come! I think you are doing a wonderful job for all of us in bringing us the reports, funny stories and pictures, and, not to forget, in keeping the English-speaking friends up to date concerning the further ‘adventures’ of Knut and Gianna and other animals. thank you so much for running Knutitours. I do hope this will be ongoing. This is the place where one can really de-stress, where there is so much fun and joy. Your hard work on this unique Magazine and Forum is very much appreciated. I cannot imagine what was life before KWM and Knutitours. I am very proud that you offered me my column which makes it possible for me to provide all the friends with news, reports and stories about our beloved bears. Furthermore we will never forget to have met so many nice friends in Berlin personally. The visit in Knuipe together with you and Vesa, TBM and TBV and Ralph was sensational.
With Knutitours and KWM you have given so many of us a second home. That is wonderful!
