Dear friends! Ludmila kindly send three stories of Brumas to Knuti’s Weekly and here comes the first of them. I apologize for the poor quality – I had to make pdf-files to jpg-files and the result isn’t what I was hoping for. I hope you can still read them. First there’s a presentation of Brumas and after that a story -The Whitewash Bucket.

By the way – you can find an excellent article of Brumas in Birgit’s K-files – and with much better quality, too! Greetings from Mervi

  2. Dear Ludmila,

Thank you so much for your efforts in bringing us the Brumas stories. The story of Brumas and Ivy is delightful and so are the “children’s” stories. Just think, 60 years ago a little polar bear was born and taken into the hearts of Londoners just the way Knut has been taken into the hearts of Berliners (and the world). The world has changed a lot since 1949, but the love for polar bears by many humans has not diminished.

    Greetings to Uwe and Katharina,
    Hugs from Sarsam

  3. Ludmila – This is so touching and an amazing parallel with Knut’s life. Brumas was such a beautiful cub. These stories tugs at our heart strings and floods the heart with so many emotions. Love never changes does it? Everything else undergoes transformations but love and the expression of love remains constant across time. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Ludmila,
