Synchronized swimming

Dear friends! Now that our pool has been cleaned it’s such fun to go swimming with La Donna. Before I start the water exercises I always put on my special makeup. Gianna hasn’t learnt to approve my dark bear look yet but I’m sure she will sooner or later…..

Knut, I’d love to look like you but I just don’t want to make my fluffy fur dirty! I think you should take a bath and be white again, too!

OK, dear lady. Your wishes are my command!

Let’s start with some pawicure. I wonder….. is it very sissy to use nail polish? I mean I’m a male bear and the last thing I want is to be a sissy!

What an elegant paw kick!

Shall we synchronize our movements? First the paws up, then we’ll dive, then we’ll pop up exactly at the same time.

We must exercise every day to be a perfect swimming team.

A fish smelling kiss is never wrong. The human beings are so funny, they keep brushing their teeth and eating all kinds of mints but nothing compares to a fish smelling breath!!

Shall we dive again or shall we just food…. I mean fool around?

Who am I?

After all swimming I really need a ‘nickerchen’. Wake me up when the waiter arrives with my food!

    the lovely photos get even more life with your nice captions and the funny story. I understand Giovanna very well, that she refrains from getting her fluffy fur dirty. Me too, like a white Knuti even more.

    Dear Monika, thanks you for your pictures. But I think that by now, Gianna is almost as good as Knut in putting up her black make-up. Well ja, they say that a mud bath is good for softening and cleaning the skin and the fur. And who am I to doubt this polar bear wisdom???
