Giovanna – the Snow White

Hello friends! This series of photos is a tribut to my Snowy Queen Giovanna. I have never seen a whiter bear!! Have you? I don’t understand how she does that but she always looks so very white and cool.
Of course, Ihave my white moments, too….
…. although it never lasts very long. As I’ve said before – a messy bear is a happy bear and I love to ‘mess around’.
White, fluffy and roundish! That’s my girl!
Hmm, maybe I should try to make myself more polar bear like? I start with a pawicure….
Mmmmmm, my paws still have a smell and taste of salmon. Not bad at all!
Even her teeth look so healthy.
Who can possibly resist that smile?
Öhöm…. I don’t think I look so bad either….
Are my teeth clean enough now?
They look fine to me – you can shut your big mouth now!
Did you see that ‘expert’ standing in front of our enclosure? Shall we show him our tongues again, hihihiii…..the poor man needs something to write about…..
Dear friends, I know it’s only a matter of days when my Snow White is going back to Munich. We’ve had some good times together even if the start wasn’t very promising…. I wish Giovanna a long and happy life in her new enclosure – maybe with Yoghi?

Dear Mervi – this is a really lovely story. Giovanna, the Snowwhite, still a bit roundish but to so much anymore; she has grown.
And Knuti- being busy with pawicure. Have you ever seen another bear doing this? He has such nice and long claws.
And Knuti’s generosity to offer the expert to see his tongue, that he has something to write (he better doesn’t write anything, as it is a waste of paper).
Knuti’s modesty, he does look gorgeous.
Dear Knuti, do not be sad when she is leaving. Such friendships last often a lifetime. Many who are in another relationship separate after a short or a bit longer time.
Dear Doris and Jessie, thank you so much for sharing your “white” photos with us. They are beautiful.

Thank you for the story and the pictures. I am always curious how Giovanna manages to stay white. She is a beautiful and lovely girl. I am sad to let her go to Munich. Even so I wish her a good time with Yoghi.

Dear Knuti, You did a fine job of honoring miss fluffy beautiful girl. She has been a great friend to you, teaching you some poler bear tricks! ! We have enjoyed seeing you together and I admit I am a bit heartbroken to see her go…but then Yoghi has been waiting so patiently. I hope Miss G and Mr. Y have a great time together and you have many new adventures awaiting you too! (ehem, I did notice that it is quite easy to veer off the subject of Miss Snow White Giovanna and back onto yourself (and salmon scented paws too!). this is, of course, as it should be.)

What’s for sure: we all will miss her a lot as she has shown her impressive personality so well. All the best for all of you in every new circumstances of life. Big hug to YOU, to GIOVANNA, and last not least to your talented and busy ghost-writer MERVI.
Dear Knuti, I liked your tribute to LA DONNA so much. Thank you! You are right, she is a white beauty and you don’t look so bad either, right! Even you had some hard times to get accostomed to her and you remained always a bit “in Hab-Acht-Stellung”, you respect and like her a lot in the meantime, and you certainly will miss her – at least once in a while …

We all know what that’s like ~ ships passing in the night ~ and then suddenly all comes to a screeching halt. Well perhaps La Donna makes the passage to her new enclosure, Munich, and is paired with another male. Ecck !! You and I wish her the best. She is one good looker. And no doubt you have enhanced yourself by being in her presence during these last several months, but when it’s time, it’s time !!
Just between you and me, Knut, by the powers that be, I/we know that another sweet polar honey will be coming to join you, or vis a’ vis.

Dear Doris and Jessie, many thanks for the wonderful pics of Snow White and her Cavalier Galant. I am following all of your pics daily in HF and it is a never-ending joy.
