New borns in Brazil

Golden lion tamarin – species in extinction was born at the Americana’s Zoo (nearly from my city Campinas)
Two were born December 22 and they are in the parents’ company and they were the last registrations from birth of the species in the zoo, it was still possible to define the sex of the capuchin monkeys.
The reproduction in captivity happens between September and March and each gestation it can generate from one to three nestlings. The Golden lion monkey can reach up to 32 centimeters, it weighs between 400 and 700 grams, and lives, on average, 15 years.
Three tiger-Siberian were born in the same Zoo in December 21
The species is threatened of extinction too and the reproduction was made in captivity.
Original of Sibéria Oriental, the tiger is a solitary hunter of night habits. It can reach a speed of up to 80 km/h and the to jump a height from 5 to 6 meters. Your sense more sharpened it is the audition, the basic feeding is the meat and, in natural atmosphere, it hunts antelopes and buffalos, among other mammals. In the Americana’s Zoo, they receive about 6kg of meat a day.
Usually, they live about 20 years.
Of course I will visit these babies soon….
