Imaq, Lynn & Co in Copenhagen

16.8.2019 – The Copenhagen Zoo

A lot of things are happening in the Copenhagen Zoo all the time. Unfortunately I’m not able to visit the zoo for the time being but maybe we’ll soon have a ‘live report’ soon anyway …..

While we’re waiting I wanted to show you some videos.

Imaq – the copycat or should I say the copybear?

The keepers have started target training with Imaq. Lynn already knows how to behave and her daughter is an extremely quick learner according to the keepers. She imitates mama and does everything right already.

Ooops!!! Hmm, there’s something Imaq hasn’t learnt yet …. to check that the ‘tunnel’ under mama’s belly is clear!! 🙂

Xing Er is having bundles of fun in his little pool.

The Amur leopard kittens are spending more and more time outdoors so the visitors – with any luck – can see them playing and even trying to eat solid food. Of course, the trio is very curious of everything around them.

  1. Thank you very much, dear MERVI, for having brought those extra cute veideo-clips and also three wonderful pics in the beginning. Much fun! . . . Thanks as well to the COPENHAGEN ZOO.

Interesting to see IMAQ’s learning success and also interesting to see the difference in size between Mama and daughter when Mama is standing upright!!

Ui-ui-ui what an unhappy but also very funny conincidence is shown in the second video.

I am amazed to see a panda enjoying a bath as we used to do when we were little children. Sometimes there is next to no difference between the behaviour of animal and human children or even adults! Further lots of fun to the Panda in his ‘puddle’ 🙂 .

OMG Those little blue eyed cats are cuter than cute and they ‘trauen sich was!’. (This morning I read a note in the ‘Kleine Tierkastenredaktion’ of the local newspaper ‘Berliner Zeitung’ that the ROSAMOND-GIFFORD-ZOO in SYRACUSE/State New York has also presented twins of this species.

  2. Sorry, my compi had a nervous breakdown in the meantime. Here we are:

  3. Dear Mervi!
Thank you for the vivid videos from the Copenhagen Zoo.

I wonder if it brings good luck when Mummy is shitting upon the child´s head? 😉

The bathing panda seemed to have the time of his life in his bathtub. The video is really heartwarming!

The Amur leopard kittens are as cute as precious. Congratulation for this sweet trio to the Copenhagen Zoo!

I wish all these beauties all the best!

  4. Liebe Mervi,

  5. Dear Mervi
I am afraid I am not able to download videos even from my latest phone, but there will be lots of photos.
Imaq may not mind being exposed Lynn\s Hinterlassenschaften. The immunity she needs in early life comes in part from the contents of these.

  6. Liebe Mervi
