Aalborg – Malik’s twins swimming and digging

The Aalborg Zoo is still closed for the visitors but we can at least enjoy some videos of Malik and her twins. The girls are already skilful swimmers. Now there’s also a heap of sand in the polar bears’ enclosure and, naturally, the family had to start digging. 🙂

The photos are of very poor quality because they’re screen shots from a video.

Looking so cute even in an unsharp photo!

It looks like the one of the twins is a fearless Viking princess while the other is more careful. 🙂

Because this video is quite long (about 10 minutes) I only insert a link here.  You can first meet the reindeers and then after about 5 minutes you can see Malik and the cubs ‘working’ with the sand.

  1. Mervi
Thank you for posting this here.
The cubs are doing well and the sand has added to their fun

  2. Dear Mervi!

  3. Dear Mervi!
I´m happy for Malik and her twins that they have a good time whether in the water or in the sand despite the lack of visitors..
It was a good idea to put a heap of sand into the enclosure to keep the bears occupied.
I wonder if Malik planned to build a den and had a good laugh about the little ones who were pelted with sand by their mother and looked quite astonished. But as we all know a dirty bear is a happy bear…
    Thank you for the update.

  4. Thank you very much dear Mervi.
