5.7.2020 – Photos by Gudrun, Collage by Dumba

This time we remember Knut and his ‘green paws’. He was a master of moving plants from one place to another and managed to make his enclosure much greener.

This spot really needs something green  ….

… but first a well deserved snack!

Oh, the catering service is coming!

Knut saw a salmon in the water and jumped elegantly after it.

I can’t look at this photo without getting tears in my eyes. He was such an adorable polar bear boy.

  1. Yes, KNUT nuzzling his paw was always a touching view and experience to see.

On one hand it was just a touching sight, on the other hand it made one kind of sad already at that time
because it seemed to be a sign of lonelyness.

Anyway, dear MERVI, you are right he was always ‘an adorable polar bear boy’
in each and every phase of his short life!

It’s so good GUDRUN has saved so many beautiful and typical KNUT-photos which make us happy even a long time after his leaving this world.

Thanks to the both of you for still being there to think back to our most loved polar bear boy ever in time
each and every of his ‘monthly memory days’, as it is today the 163rd of those days. Deep sigh!

  2. Dear Mervi
The pictures of Knut always show what a beautiful Polar Bear he was. We saw him in the Spring of his life, which would have turned into Summer.
Watching Nobby and Nissan growing up in Doncaster has sttengthened my belief that Knut would have grown in confidence with the help of his mother and Nancy, just as Nobby in particular has done. Even Kati, like Victor has with Nobby, would have learnt to respect him.

  3. Thank you very much dear Mervi, Gudrun and Dumba.
Dear Knuti, we miss you so much. We love you.

  4. Dear Mervi!
Thank you for taking us along the memory lane again!
Doris Webb always said that Knut was the most beautiful young polar bear she had ever seen and I agree.
The reason therefore lay in the fact that we really loved this charming bear boy.
When I look at these photos after all these years I´m still getting quite sad about his loss. But after a while I remember the joy he brought us and I am able to smile again.

    Liebe Gudrun!

  6. Dear Mervi!
Thank you for the pictures of Knut. Knut loved the gardening. 🙂
    Liebe Dumba,
    deine Collage ist schön.
    Hugs
    Ludmila

  7. Another monthly birthday – and a walk down memory lane – so sweet and sad to see. He was a lovely bear. And it was a wonderful and speciel time

Thanks a lot Mervi for showing the wonderful pictures and thanks a lot Dumba for the charming collage.

    Hugs from Copenhagen
    Inge
