Wild West Heroes complete with Villains, Damsels, Dashing Young Knights and All the other Parts (ATOP)

Part I

A damsel – but not just a damsel, this damsel is the most utterly beautiful and charming damsel ever EVER seen (played by Miss Gus – note star billing) is challenged and chased by a Wild Prairie Dog/Most Dirty and Dastardly Villain of the Worstest Possible Kind that you can EVER imagine/Charging Horse (the one and only TOM – don’t ever call me Tom Kitten again for I am not!) and All the other parts (ATOP)/extras/scenery/refreshments/make-up/hair and costume changes (Sydney Butterball Cat Detective).

One vaguely sunny morning (the sun has to be imagined a little) the damsel was attending to her toilette – nails, fur, necklace and thinking about whether to eat one tiny piece of meat or perhaps two biscuits and which way to lie on the rug for best effect WHEN along came the VILLAIN (his full title must be summarised due to time constraints). Suddenly, the damsel found herself in extreme and certain danger of life, death and bad fur day! Being of very small and delicate build (and, I have been asked to add – very thin) and most certainly not able to put up a fight against such a VILLANEOUS VILLAIN DARK KNIGHT, all that the damsel could do was RUN – run like the wind with her tail flowing behind her. The Villain chased and chased and huffed and puffed and suddenly, out of nowhere appeared ATOP; “Heeeaaaallllp” gasped our little heroine! “Hello Damsel, is it nearly breakfast time?” said ATOP.

“Must you always think of your stomach at a time like this?” retorted the damsel, most exasperated with ATOP; “in fact, if you must know, you should concentrate on your stomach, you are in serious need of some abs work, now you have taken up quite enough of my time and had your ‘tip of the day’, I must escape the VILLAIN, if you hadn’t noticed!”. ATOP was a little taken aback by all this but being of an amiable nature decided not to say anything much at all.

In the meantime, the VILLAIN had caught up with the damsel (after having collided with his Dad who was coming out of the bathroom and having had a quick flop and a tummy rub). “HA damsel, I have you in my clutches!!!” hissed the VILLAIN most menacingly!

Wild West Heroes (Part II)

Cast:
The most utterly beautiful and charming damsel ever EVER seen – Miss Gus
Wild Prairie Dog/Most Dirty and Dastardly Villain/Charging Horse – Tom
All the other parts (ATOP)/extras/scenery/refreshments/make-up/hair and costume changes – Sydney Butterball Cat Detective

Well dear reader, we last saw our little (uber-thin) and very beautiful heroine in such utter danger and in fear of her life not to mention her hairdo with the dastardly villain closing in on her. ‘Heeeeelllllppp!’ the damsel cried but to no avail! Then a strange whooshing noise was to be heard – she looked up anxiously, surely nothing else could go wrong – after all it was only just after breakfast time!

The damsel jumped up onto the banisters and then, bravely for it was a huge leap for the small one, leapt up to the sky light! She hung for a moment and then re-gained her balance and climbed through onto the roof. She blinked in the bright sunlight – damn in the chase she had lost her Prada shades – and there on the roof was a carpet, draped in huge, fluffy green blankets – and also a Captain wearing a peaked cap. ‘Morning ma’am, I was just on my way to collect Miss Flocke for a shopping trip when I heard your cries, hop on up and tell me all about it”.

Our little heroine did not hesitate – escape from the Villain and a shopping trip! ‘Quick ATOP’ she shouted, ‘throw up Dad’s Visa!’ The damsel caught the Visa deftly in her well manicured little paw and the flying carpet ascended gently. ‘Just sit back in your rug and relax’ said the Captain in his melodious voice; ‘the weather report is just fine and we will be cruising at an altitude of 29,000 feet. Luncheon will be served when we have collected Miss Flocke but in the meantime please help yourself to a pot of cream’. The damsel relaxed back in the plush green rug, looking down at the roof light where she could see the Villain gnashing his teeth and waving his huge paw ‘Grrrrhhhh – I’ll get you one day’ he snarled! The damsel felt a little sorry at leaving ATOP behind but she knew that this was what SHE deserved – a wonderful day out and shopping trip and to hell with the calories, she even had a lick at some cream!

It was only then that she took a closer look at the Captain; his fur was such a mix of strange colours – both pale and dark and really rather smudgy looking. Suddenly she remembered that she had seen him before, on a screen saver on a computer (computers becoming more and more used in the Wild West!).

Wild West Heroes (Part III)

As our Heroine reclined on her green rug sipping at a tiny pot of cream, all was not going so well for ATOP and the Dastardly Villain who were still looking at the roof light and the flying carpet which was becoming smaller and smaller before disappearing into the distance. It was true to say that the Villain was now in a FOUL temper – he had been outwitted by the Damsel and a stranger on a flying carpet – most unexpected and now what was he meant to do. ATOP was going to suggest a second or even third breakfast might be in order but decided to keep quiet; things could easily turn against her.

Now was the time for ATOP to use all her powers of deduction, persuasion, tact and wisdom. She could stop the Villain – all by herself – she just needed a cunning plan and she needed to come up with it in double-quick time, too! In the meantime, the Villain walked around and around in a circle and then settled down for a little nap – ATOP saw her chance and ran downstairs, almost silently, glancing back to check that the Villain was not following her.

Quickly she turned on the computer, glancing at the handsome fellow on the screen saver as she did, then after hitting the ANY key several times found the google button! Which search string to use? ‘Stopping Dastardly Villains’ did not yield much. Just then, there was a miaeow outside the back door – yeah, a Young Knight to the Rescue (played by Junior – the young cat who lives somewhere down the road).

‘Dashing Young Knight’ said ATOP, ‘you have no idea how pleased I am to see you! I really need your help to conquer the Villain – we need to come up with a plan ASAP whilst he is asleep and also the Damsel has flown off on a passing flying carpet, would you believe it?’ Well, the Dashing Young Knight was delighted to be part of a PLAN – he lives alone with his humans and is rather envious of the Gang of Three.

‘Well, let’s just have a small snack – it’s never a good idea to come up with a plan on an empty stomach’ said ATOP. ‘Excellent idea’ said the Dashing Young Knight ‘breakfast was hours and hours ago’ – well twenty minutes is a long time to a young cat’s tummy! After their snack break and after they had cleaned up, serious planning was about to commence, when came the sound that they had dreaded – footsteps! The Dark Knight aka Evil Villain was awake – oh big pants!

Wild West Heroes (Part IV)

Whilst ATOP and the Dashing Young Knight were frantically trying to come up with a cunning plan against the Evil Villain, our young and most heart-stoppingly beautiful heroine was in her element. Drifting somewhere over Europe, sipping some cream and then flying down into Nuremburg to collect Miss Flocke. Who was this Miss Flocke and what was this urgent shopping trip!

The Captain’s assistant had also started to prepare the lunch and all looked and smelt sooooo delicious – the Damsel had indeed declared a no diet day! With only the vaguest of bumps, the carpet had landed and Miss Flocke hopped aboard and introduced herself to the Damsel.

The Damsel was at first a little cool with Miss Flocke (it’s a women’s thing – sussing out the competition) but then she warmed to her as Miss Flocke explained that she was moving to the south of France ‘oh la la’ and needed some exquisitely chic outfits to fit right in! On hearing that, the Damsel was right in there with some good ideas and on the way to KaDeWi they became firm friends over a sumptuous lunch with fish, chicken and steak; Miss Damsel did ask for some salad but was told it was ‘off’ today.

Miss Flocke excitedly told the Damsel all her plans for her move South with her Beau, the handsome Russian, and the Damsel sighed, if only she had a beau and if only she was moving to the sunshine – what outfits she would wear, she would be sitting at the helm of a Riva boat with her beau, wearing a little stripey scarf. Miss Flocke bought her suddenly back from her dreams; ‘We are here, come on dreamy girl, time to hit the shops!’.

Miss Flocke and the Damsel had a ball at the shops; Miss Flocke purchased some beautiful outfits, many sun items and wonderful hats whilst the Damsel indulged herself with her favourites, accessories! There were so many bags and boxes that they both became a little tired and had to stop for a little glass of Champagne! During this time, Miss Flocke’s Handy started to ring, ring, ring. First it was the Captain, he had just received take off clearance and then it was Raspi the Russian Beau who was missing Flocke and had misplaced something important and only SHE would be able to find it (well, men are completely useless at finding anything).

Wearily, the girls headed back to the flying carpet where the Captain had laid out the fluffy rugs ready for them to nap on the way home. Kisses and tears and mobile numbers were exchanged at Nuremburg and then the Captain flew off again with our sleepy little heroine back to Chelsea.

Wild West Heroes (Part V)

Whilst the Damsel slept dreamily on her way home, ATOP and the Dashing Young Knight were faced with the dilemma of the Villain. He sauntered into the room, looking at ATOP and the Young Knight with a haughty expression on his fine roman nose; unfortunately this did not have the desired effect and the Young Knight let out an inadvertent snigger. The Villain rose up on his haunches to his full height, which was really quite impressive, and boomed; ‘Do you know who I am and how easy it would be for me to crush you’. The Young Knight was not entirely used to being spoken to like that and decided that he would not put up with it. As he started to draw breath and think up a suitable retort, ATOP decided it was time to step in.

‘Calm down boys and remember that this isn’t really the Wild West; it’s just Mum and Dad’s kitchen in Chelsea and we should all behave or we will be in trouble later and Junior you should go home before you are missed and’, she trailed off suddenly remembering that Gus was still missing. Oh double big pants – how was she going to fix that one – Dad will go really mad and his face will turn red and he will shout, louder than anyone!!!! As ATOP, who had indeed come out of character and was now sensible Sydney again, started to panic she heard cries from upstairs.

‘That’s Gus back!’ she exclaimed as they heard little footsteps and then saw Gus running into the kitchen with her fur billowing all around her, barely able to draw breath and speak. ‘Oh! Oh!’ she managed to squeak.

‘Here, have a drink of water and tell us what happened’, Sydney tried to soothe her and get her to breath deeply. Gus took a deep breath, ‘I have had the most magical day and met the most awesome bears and flew on a carpet and shopped till we dropped and, and‘ – again she stopped as she took in the disbelieving faces around her.

Her face fell a little as she realised that they would never believe her magical adventure, but deep down she knew it was real and she would never forget a moment of it.

All four cats looked a little crestfallen at this stage but once again Sydney took control and tore open several packets of Felix which they all enjoyed, well all except for Gus – well a girl can only eat so much in one day!

Craig Grant bought a tree farm far away from the city and turned it into a sanctuary for all the cats he has rescued.
He lives there with the cats and provides lots of love, care and companionship. Its hard to imagine that once he was not a cat lover and did not want cats until he met his sons cat Pepper. He also got to experience what it is like raising a litter of kittens.

Over that time I learned that every cat had its own unique personality and it wasnt long before the kittens were swinging from my curtains. I didnt care. Something had changed I didnt want to give them up.

The condo life was not easy for the kitties, so Craig found a tree farm and settled down there for his fur babies.
Over the next several months, he rescued more and more homeless and abandoned cats. The number of new residents kept going up, so Craig expanded the sanctuary to make more room for the animals.

The farm was named Caboodle Ranch and is now a permanent home for all the homeless, rescued cats. Each of them has a sad story of their past, but now they are living in heaven.

Cats should be able to roam free, and at Caboodle Ranch, thats what they do.  Craig has built many beautiful cat houses and decorated the place with vibrant colors and tons of liveliness. All the cats are spayed and neutered.

Regenwetter in Berlin, trotzdem machte ich einen kurzen Besuch bei Knut. Er ließ sich nicht vom Wetter abhalten und spielte die ganze Zeit im Wasser. Von Sonntagsruhe bei Knut keine Spur, entweder wurde mit dem Baumstamm oder mit dem Aussidog gespielt.

Man musste sich losreißen, damit man kurz zur Fütterung der großen Eisbären gehen konnte.

Danach gab es eine ausgiebige Frühstückspause in der Waldschänke, drinnen war es kälter als draußen, nur saß man im Trockenen. Es gab heute keinen großen Rundgang, der Regen war halt zu viel. Durchgefroren und durchgenässt bin ich um 12.30 Uhr wieder nach Hause.

Nach einer gefühlten sehr langen Zeit (dabei waren es ca. 10 Tage) war ich wieder bei Urs und Berna. Die beiden sind einfach goldig . Ueberhaupt gleichen sie in der Fellzeichnung nun sehr Mama Björk.

Mama Björk nahm ein Bad im eigenen Pool mit Aare-Wasser

und ein Bärchen fand das eine gute Idee, das andere nicht

Das “Nasse” musste sich beeilen, denn irgendwas war los

etwas sehr Interessantes, oder etwa nicht ……

Bei den Stufen zur Aare brachten Handwerker ein zusätzliches Geländer an. Letzte Woche fiel ein elf jähriges Mädchen in die Aare und konnte sich nur mit viel Glück und ziemlich weiter unten aus dem reissenden Fluss retten. Auch bei uns führen die Gewässer im Moment Hochwasser. Schade um den freien Zugang zum Wasser – aber Sicherheit geht vor.

Auf die Dauer ist das ja auch nicht so interessante und die beiden “raufen” noch etwas, aber mehr im gemächlichen Tempo

Gottseidank war vor ein paar Tagen meine Fotoakku sehr schwach. So musste ich doch bald wieder nach Bern um noch genügend Bilder zu machen. Dieser Freitagmorgen war herrlich:

1. Schwingen
Dieses Wochenende findet in der Schweiz das grösste Volksfest statt. Alle drei Jahre startet das “Eidgenössische Schwingfest” und es werden über 200’000 Besucher erwartet. Schwingen ist eine urtümliche Sportart (ähnlich dem Ringen). Die Teilnehmer werden liebevoll “die Bösen” genannt und es sind alles so richtige Brocken von 100 kg und mehr. Auch wird unser (Schwinger)könig erkoren.
Man nennt alle Schwinger mit dem Nachnamen zuerst, also : Grab Martin oder Abderhalden Jög etc. Ueber 3000 freiwillige Helfer sind aktiv und es ist so richtig urchig schweizerisch mit Jodeln, Trachten, Fahnenschwingen. Das Interesse ist riesig und sämtliche Schweizerischen TV Stadtionen übertragen nonstop live.

Da können Urs und Berna natürlich nicht fehlen, sie haben kräftig geübt.

2. Klettern
Also die beiden Bärchen sind ja schon nicht mehr so schnell, wie noch im Frühjahr. Aber die schöne Aussicht auf dem Baum wollen sie trotzdem noch geniessen

Danach war eine Abkühlung nötig. Mutter Björk machte brav mit und spielte nach Bärenmama-Manier mit ihnen

Heute war ich seit langer Zeit wieder mal im Zoo. Weil sowohl in den Foren als auch in der Presse von dem kleinen Flusspferd berichtet wurde, führte mich mein Weg zuerst ins Flusspferdhaus. Vor der Glasscheibe des Flusspferdbeckens standen die Besucher dicht an dicht. Trotzdem hatte ich Glück. Eben tauchte das kleine Köpfchen des Mini-Hippos aus dem Wasser auf. Er betrachtete eingehend eine Ente, die vor ihm auf der Insel stand und die Ente betrachtete ihn. Oder sie. Dann ließ Mini-Hippo die Propelleröhrchen kreisen und tauchte wieder ab.

Ich wollte zu den großen Eisbärinnen, denn es war kurz vor halb elf. Aber von wegen – der Weg war gesperrt! Einige mit Motorsägen bewaffnete Männer fällten gerade einen Baum. Naja, schließlich gibt es ja noch das Vogelhaus, das man als Abkürzung benutzen konnte. Heute hatte ich aber kaum einen Blick für die gefiederten Schönheiten. Ich wollte zu den Eisbären.

Eine Dame empfing mich am Gehege bereits mit den Worten: „Guck mal, die Eisbären haben Baumstämme bekommen. Und sie spielen so toll damit!” In der Tat schwammen zwei ordentliche Baumstämme im Wasser: etwa 1,20 m lang und 30 cm dick. Damit ließ sich schon etwas anfangen! Tosca und Nancy fingen auch etwas damit an. Sie tobten im Wasser herum. Von Hochwerfen über Anklammern bis hin zum Benagen wurde alles ausprobiert. Katjuscha sah vom Ufer aus.

Als aber Herr Röbke mit dem Futter kam, wurden die Baumstämme zur Nebensache. Schließlich sind ordentliche Fleischportionen auch nicht zu verachten! Das Fleisch wurde gerecht verteilt. Zum Abschluss warf Herr Röbke noch die Brötchen ins Wasser. Aber nicht alle auf einmal, sondern Stück für Stück. Die Brötchen schwammen auf dem Wasser und sahen wie eine Kette aus.

Nach der Fütterung wollte ich zu Knut. Die Nasenbären waren nicht zu sehen. Bei den Wölfen waren nur zwei zu sehen – eines der Männchen und ein Jungtier. Die Jungen sind nun nicht mehr klein. Ich staune, wie sehr sie in der Zeit gewachsen sind, seit ich sie das letzte Mal gesehen habe. Knut indessen lag in seiner Kuhle und schlief. Die Junggesellenzeit muss genossen werden so lange wie währt. Als die Lippenbären sich lautstark prügelten, hob Knut nur mal kurz den Kopf. Ach, die schon wieder… Und schon schlief er weiter.

Ich war heute mit einer Knutfreundin verabredet und zusammen schauten wir nochmal nach dem Mini-Flusspferd. Es zeigte prompt wieder sein Niedlich-Programm: auftauchen, Propelleröhrchen kreiseln lassen und wieder abtauchen.

Dann gingen wir weiter zu den Eisbären, denn wir wollten doch sehen, was aus den Baumstämmen geworden war. Tosca und Nancy waren mit ihren Baumstämmen selig. Besonders Nancy lief zur Höchstform auf. Vielleicht wollte sie sich für einen schottischen Wettkampf im Baumstamm-Werfen qualifizieren? Jedenfalls schleuderte sie das Teil immer wieder mit Schmackes in die Höhe. Zwischendurch schmusten die beiden Bärinnen miteinander. Wir sahen den beiden lange zu; es war besser als jedes Kino.

Dann gingen wir wieder zu Knut. Der war endlich erwacht. Das Fell war auch hübsch gefärbt, halb weiß, halb dunkelgrau. So konnte man sich dem Publikum präsentieren. Die Besucher riefen, Knut solle ins Wasser gehen. Zum Glück macht er immer noch, was er will. Aber nachdem er eine Weile mit den Tatzen im Wasser geplanscht hatte, ging er dann doch ganz hinein.

Aber leider hatten wir heute wenig Zeit. Nachdem wir Knut eine Weile beim Baden zugesehen hatten, gingen wir dann zum Ausgang. Ich blieb noch ein wenig im Zoo und ging zu BaoBao. Der bot ein interessantes Schauspiel. BaoBao hatte frischen Bambus bekommen. Den verspeiste er, auf dem Rücken liegend und die Beine hoch in die Luft gestreckt. Viele Leute standen dort, fotografierten und freuten sich über das drollige Bild. Dann verließ auch ich denn Zoo.

Heute (22.8) gab es nun die ersehnte Lieferung für den Bärenhof, die auch wieder sehr dankbar entgegen genommen wurde. Knut lag früh in seiner Kuhle und war kaum zu sehen. Also ging es zur Fütterung der großen Eisbären, den Lachs bekamen sie dann um 13.30 Uhr.

Man machte dann erst eine ausgiebige Pause in der Waldschänke. Knut war inzwischen ausgeschlafen und konnte sich anfangs nicht entschließen ins Wasser zu gehen. Dann wurde ausgiebig mit dem Ball gespielt und danach war der Baumstamm dran. Vor 14 Tagen kam Nachwuchs bei den Nilpferden und den musste man sich ansehen, so niedlich und klein von der Mama sehr beschützt, man konnte immer nur das kleine Köpfchen sehen.

Erst schliefen alle und auf einmal war Bewegung bei den großen Eisbären, eine Kindergruppe hatte eine Führung und sie durften Brötchen reinwerfen. War ziemlich praktisch das sie bereits im Wasser waren, so konnten alle drei ihren Lachs in Empfang nehmen. Katjuscha verschwand damit gleich in die Höhle und Tosca und Nancy verschwanden damit auf den Felsen.

 Auch die Braunbären und Knut bekamen heute ihren Lachs. Knut hat ihn in einer Geschwindigkeit gefressen, so schnell konnte man gar nicht hinsehen. Nach der Fütterung wurde es für mich Zeit nach Hause zu fahren, der Tag war lang genug für mich.

Hello friends! I have done a lot of thinking again. What I’m wondering most is why everybody wants me suddenly to be an adult? I’m still a ‘kleenet Kind’ who wants to play and have fun! I’ll be adult in due course – no need to rush things don’t you think? The same thing happens with the human children nowadays. They are not allowed to be children long enough – that’s why many of them become unhappy adults far too soon.

Tourists come to pet cats

In the former mine village Houtoung (Taiwan), lots of tourists come especially to pet the approximately 400 stray cats. They also take billions of pics, buy cat-related souvenirs and volunteers look for free care and food for the cats. According to a very satisfied visitor from Taipei, it is a very pleasant experience and he said that the cats were very clean and not at all scared of humans.
It all started with Mrs. Chan Bi-Yun, who took over the five cats of a neighbour after his passing away. Shortely thereafter, the cats started to breed like rabbits, with the result that there are now twice as much cats as humans. And herewith a few pics.

How sick and cruel can a human be???

In the airport of Bangkok, a two-month old tiger cub was found in the luggage of a 31-year old Thai woman, who tried to “smuggle” it to Iran. On the airport, she was having problems with the check-in of her bag and on the X-rays, it became clear that allegedly there was an animal in her bag. Special support from experts was called and they found the sedated cub that was immediately brought to a shelter. There a vet took care of it, because it was suffering of dehydration and was very weak. After giving the required and very needed liquids and food, it is now in a better condition. The woman risks to get a penalty of 4 years in prison and a fine of EUR 1.000 (na, well, maybe that according to their standard, this represents a lot of money, but according to mine, it is still peanuts). And herewith a few pics of the cub. By the way, one can wonder what happened with the mother ?????

Die Pfleger haben gesagt dass sie sich nach wie vor schwer tut, es aber kleine Fortschritte gibt. Sie spielt aber nach wie vor alleine, und sie schaukelt immer ein wenig von vorne nach hinten. Die Pfleger meinten auch,  es sei äußerst schwer, sie müsse einfach lernen. Ich habe gefragt ob die Integrierung sicher irgendwann klappen wird, 100% tig weiß man dies natürlich nie, es sei ein schweres Unterfangen, dennoch hoffen es alle und Daumendrücken kann sicherlich nicht schaden…
Mary  spielte mit Stroh und schaukelte ein wenig, habe dann mit ihr gesprochen. Als ich Mary da sitzen sah, so “randständig” tat sie mir schon leid, ich wünsche ihr von Herzen dass sie irgendwann lernt und Anschluss findet.

The keepers told me that she has to learn hard, but there are little improvements. Mary is playing alone and she is swinging forwards and backwards. The keepers informed me that it is extremely difficult , that she has to go on learning. One doesn’t know whether integration will be successful, it would be difficult. However, all hope that it will work and crossing paws may help ….. Mary was playing with the straw and swinging a bit, I talked to her. I felt sorry for Mary when I saw her alone, from the bottom of my heart I wish her that she will be integrated soon

Awesome labrador dog fetches owner beer from fridge!!!

This well-trained doggy fetches a cool beer for hiw owner and even closing the door again is no problem. Do you think that she got her training in The Knuipe????

“These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,” he said. “On the morning we saw them, they were walking quickly but stopping
sometimes to play together. At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and these extraordinary scenes followed.”

Prickly situation: Meet Trifle, the hedgehog with three broken legs

Please meet Trifle, a young 10-weeks old hedgehog, who was brought the the “St. Tiggiwinkles Wildlife hospital” in Ruislip (Middlesex – UK), where an ray indicated that he was having three broken legs. Nobody knows how he has broken his legs, however, the keepers at the shelter assumed that he fell off a wall and forgot to form a ball to protect himself during this fall.

According to the management of the shelter, it will take about 8 weeks before the feet will be healed completely, although they hope he can keep them (a thing that is not for sure yet). As such, they have decided to keep Trifle at least one year in the shelter to give him a chance to recover and to heal the injuries.

Das Wetter war gestern zu schön um zu Hause zu bleiben, also mit dem Zweibeiner ab in den Zoo.

Knut war mittags noch am schlafen und hatte keine Lust aufzustehen, somit wurde ein kleiner Rundgang eingelegt. Später war Knut im Wasser und spielte mit allem was er so finden konnte. Gestern war der Zoo wieder sehr gut gefüllt und man musste rechtzeitig seinen Platz zur Fütterung einnehmen.

Danach gab es eine ausgiebige Pause in der Waldschänke mit einigen auswärtigen Knutianern. Man hatte überhaupt keine Lust nach Hause zu gehen und schon gar nicht bei der abendlichen Ruhe im Zoo. Es tut so gut und ist Erholung pur, die Entspanntheit bei den Tieren zu sehen. Doch irgendwann musste Schluss sein, um nicht im Zoo eine Nacht zu verbringen.
