Our three polar bears are doing fine. We separated them on the 27th September so Ewa is now staying in the upper enclosure while Wilbär and Hope share the lower enclosure. – The brown bears are hibernating.

Zur Eröffnung des Polariums war ich in Urlaub und so war es an der Zeit Rostock zu besuchen. Es sind jetzt alle Eisbären da, Akiak ist 4 Jahre alt und kommt aus Rhenen. Noria ist 3 Jahre altund kommt aus Brno. Am Mittwoch 24.10.2018 wurde die 3. Eisbärin der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt.

Kincraig on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-3 October. I travelled up to London on Monday night to catch the overnight bus from Victoria Coach Station. While waiting, I decided to have an evening meal to keep me going through the night.

Wolodja scheint in seinem Pool eine kleine Knochensammlung zu haben. Man sah ihn tagelang mit diesem Knochen spielen. Er spielte stundenlang im Wasser, und zwischendurch ruhte er kurz im Mulch.
