King Bore keeps Ranua in his paws

While people – and even animals – are looking signs of the Spring King Bore is still keeping Ranua in his paws. The keepers must wear warm outfits. No matter how cold it is outdoors they must feed the animals and check that everything’s OK with them.

The first snow fell in Ranua!

Last night the first snow fell in Ranua and gave the humans and the animals the first ‘warning’ of the coming Winter. The snow will probably melt away soon but many animals could enjoy the white stuff at least for a day.

The bear cub in Ranua is doing fine in the keepers’ loving care. They feed the baby girl with a baby bottle and rest of the still nameless cubbie’s days are spend playing and napping.
