A morning walk keeps a polar bear fit and healthy. It’s a perfect way to start a new day. The snow has vanished so our fluffy friends have to wait for a few months until the white flakes will fall again.

Gerda wanted to test the white barrel. So far it has remained it’s original shape but my educated guess is that very soon the barrel will have the shape of an omelette. 🙂

Good morning, dear! Are you already doing your morning gymnastics?

Shall we dedicate this day to some actions in the wet element?

Hmm, the water looks very inviting.

Gerda checks the temperature …

… and finds it quite satisfactory so she jumps in.

Mirror, mirror in the water – tell me who’s the most beautiful polar bear in the world. Oh, that stupid white thing is on my way!

This is better! Because you want to kiss my nose I’m sure you think I’m the most beautiful bear! Thank you so much for the compliment!

Although the snow has melted away there’s still lots of ice in the pool.

Dear readers, you must agree that our pool is fantastic even this time of the year. What a pity you can’t join me!!

Who needs a jacuzzi when we have an icecuzzi? 🙂

The barrel even serves as a cool hat!

Kai, what are you doing up there? Please, mind your manners!

These two are not polar bears but oh, so sweet they are!

And here’s another cutie – not a polar bear but certainly white! 🙂

I would like to know what Kai is thinking.

  1. Dear Arkadi and Mervi
First of all I love the two beautiful horse pictures.
The last picture of Kai and Gerda together is a wonderful
illustration of how big male Polars are compared with the
    females.
    Thank you for this treat.

  2. Dear Arkadij and Mervi!
Kai and Gerda are each day busy 🙂 They have the toys and the water now. They both look very nice.
    Hugs
    Ludmila

  3. Alles ist wieder fein von den Beiden!

  4. Dear Arkadij and Mervi!
Thank you for these delightful photos and the humorous captions!
Gerda and Kai look gorgeous and always know how to keep themselves busy. I especially liked the jumping photo of Gerda and the size comparison at the end.
“Icecuzzy!” is a great neologism and very appropriate.

    Hugs
    Anke

  5. So Schön Die zwei und was ist eigentlich mit Sheina und Nordi Hugs Hans Odermatt.

  6. Kai und Gerda genießen ihren Eis-Pool.
Das weiße Pony ist ja wirklich süß ! 🙂

  7. Dear Arkadij and Mervi!

Thank you very much for these refreshing pictures.
I always ask myself, what are the animals thinking?
Do they think, isn’t life beautiful? Or are they thinking, when will there be food again? Or do they ask themselves, what am I going to do now? Or whatever. I would love to know 🙂

    Hugs,
    Anita

  8. Die Beiden habe ja viel Spaß in ihrem Pool! Die Pferde sind bezaubernd. Danke für die wunderbaren Fotos.
