Terve! Hello! Dear friends, here I come again! It’s been awfully hot again and I’m really worried about all my friends in the wild. There are forest fires threatening both the humans’ and the animals’ homes in Sweden so I’m thinking of Wilbär, Ewa and Hope in Orsa. Please, keep your fingers crossed that the fires will be extinguished or at least brought under control soon!
We had forest fires in Finland, too, but luckily they could be extinguished. We even had heavy thunder storms but I can assure you that mama and I – and all the animals in Ranua – are doing fine.
Mama, I love to cuddle with you but now I really must go. I must write a newsletter and choose the photos from Marko’s album. It’s very difficult because he only takes great photos!
Allow me to present my new toy to you.
It can be used as a comfortable cushion in the water ….
…. or as an elegant Summer hat. As you know it’s very important to cover your head from the burning sun. Maybe the ladies can decorate their hats with some flowers or ribbons …. 🙂 🙂 🙂
I like to play with my tyre, too. It’s very wise to play with it now because before long mama starts turning it into a Christmas wrath! Maybe you remember the photo in my Advent letter last year?
This ball is round like our planet. I wish people would open their eyes and make sure it will be possible to live on this planet even in the future. My fellow polar bears in the wild need all the help they can get!
Maybe the planet should be thrown in the air …. and then it would land and be a wonderful world …. A bear can always dream!
It’s good to be serious but a young bear like me needs to have some fun as well. Don’t you agree?
My diving technics are improving all the time!
Now I want to show you my seal imitation. I’m sure many visitors thought there was a white seal in our pool, hahahaa. 🙂
It’s not as easy as it looks ….
….. but I think I manage my ‘seal thing’ with great brilliance.
Please, feel free to give me a standing ovation. Even sitting ovations are welcome!
Finally I want to show some artistic photos by Marko. Isn’t it amazing what shapes and colours the water can take?!
I wish I could splash all this water on the forests in Sweden, Greece and everywhere where the forests are on fire!
With these ‘wet photos’ I wish all the readers of Knuti’s Weekly Magazine a pleasant Summer time. Let’s hope the weather will soon be more suitable for both you and me!
