Exactly one year ago Gerda gave birth to two sweet fur balls – a girl and a boy bear who got names Shauna and Nordi.
HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO YOU, SWEETIES!
The twins have, of course, grown a lot during the year and it looks like they’re measuring their heights.
Hey, have you got a pen or something so I can make a mark on the wall?
Oh yeah, we are quite big polar bears now! Just look at my paws – not to mention my impressive tongue!!
One morning there was a surprise for the kids – a yellow bucket.
Mama has said we must share the toys. Who’s turn is it to play with it?
I think it’s my turn but first I want to pose nicely for Arkadi.
I start by giving the bucket a gentle hug. Don’t we look cute together?
Maybe this looks even cuter?
Lots of snow and a new toy! What more could a young polar bear hope?
Now it’s your turn!
OK, but first I must do some stretching ….
After playing with the new toy it was time for some wrestling.
While the kids are entertaining themselves mama Gerda can take a look at the visitors.
Hmm, there seems to be quite a crowd ….
Gerda has done a good job with her cubbies so she can be very proud of herself and her off spring!
Mama, I think this pose is very adorable. I can hear how the cameras say ‘click’ all the time.
I think they’ll be glad if I even wave my paw ….
Just so cute!
Papa Kai is an impressive fellow and he seems to be quite satisfied with his life as a temporary singel.
Even a gigantic polar bear male can look as a cute cubbie! 🙂
After a hard day’s play it’s napping time.
The eye lids are getting heavier and heavier …
The Napland is calling!
This smile indicates happy dreams.
Gerda is patroling the enclosure making sure her cubbies have peace and quiet while they’re sleeping.
On behalf of the readers of Knuti’s Weekly I wish Shauna and Nordi lots of health and happiness!
